India is making some mind-blowing projects that are likely to come in existence within next few years. Gujarat International Finance Tec-City, International North–South Transport Corridor, Mumbai–Ahmedabad high-speed rail corridor, Bharatmala, Kalpasar Project, Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor Project, Sagar Mala project, Viraat Ramayan Mandir, Namaste Tower, Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir, World One, Chennai Bangalore Industrial Corridor, Banihal Qazigund Road Tunnel, Kacchi Dargah–Bidupur Bridge, Three Sixty West, Setu Bharatam, Inland waterways of India, Shiv Smarak, Char Dham Highway, Chenab Bridge, TCS Synergy Park, Navi Mumbai International Airport, East West Gas Pipeline, Dholera City, Amaravati City, etc., are some of those projects. Sagarmala

The project of Sagarmala was conceived in 2003 by the Vajpayee government, and expected to get completed by 2022. Aims to renovate the major and minor ports throughout 7500 km coastline, this project is likely to grow our country’s GDP by 2%. It will offer improved road and rail connectivity to the ports which will ensure fast movement of goods. This futuristic project will also create 10 million new jobs in the country.

Solar Park & Power Plant

Asia’s largest solar park hub is a group of solar parks constructed in Gujarat. It spread across 5000, acres with a capacity of 500MV. The park can produce both solar and wind energy. It hosts 19 different projects by different developers comprising US-based Sun Edison, Alex Astral, Lanco solar, GMR and Roha Dyechem

Asia’s largest solar power plant is located at Dekin in Madhya Pradesh. This is 151DC megawatt solar photovoltaic power project by Welspun Energy.  India largest private solar project developers are set up on the 800-acre site. The plan will address the power needs of 6.24 lakh hours in Madhya Pradesh.

Green and Eco-Friendly Airports

Chandigarh International Airport at Mohali is the India first airport is “Totally Green”. The airport spread over 53000 sqm has used environment-friendly green technologies that make one of –its-kinds, not only India but also in the world.

In 2015, Cochin airport became India’s first solar power operated airport. You must be amazed to know that the airport can produce 50,000 to 60,000 units of electricity per day. This technology-driven airport is absolutely power natural.

Technically Advanced Metro Projects

The first metro project in India built in Kolkata in 1984. Today, Metro has become lifelines in some of the major cities in India. This highly disabled–friendly public place in the country is the first metro rail system in the world to get carbon credits for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Airport Terminals

The Indira Gandhi International Airport was ranked as South Asia’s largest aviation hub. It is handling 25-40 million yearly passengers. The terminal capacity is to host 34 million passengers annually. It is the 24th largest building in the world. India first automated parking management and guidance system in 7 levels can provide parking area which can accommodate 4300 cars.

Mumbai‘s T2 terminal with a four-story building and a capacity to handle 40 million passengers annually. The country largest airport is escalator at 11.6 meters in Mumbai airport. Its car parking can accommodate 5200 cars.

Narmada Canal Solar Projects

Gujarat’s canal-top solar project covers 5.5 km section of the Narmada Canal with a Photovoltaic network. It is located at Chandra son village near Mehsana. This is 10 MW solar project is one of the largest in the world.

Petrochemical Complex

It will be used to manufacture polymers along with product like detergent bottles, water pipes, milk jugs, etc. the project was started in 2001 and it was expected to be ready by 2013. It will also export other countries like China, Turkey, Africa, Singapore, and Pakistan, etc.

Gujarat International Finance Tec-City

Gujarat International Finance Tec-City is as under construction central business district which located in-between two industrial cities Gandhi Nagar and Ahmedabad. It will host corporate 60,000 crores project, regional officers of companies, housing colonies, a trade centre, and a centre for the domestic financial sector. Gift city is designed to be eco –friendly.

Modern Bus Terminus

Chennai is the second largest bus station in Asia. It is also accredited with the ISO 9001:2000 quality certification for its efficient management and functioning. This terminus has the capacity to handle 2000 daily buses carrying 200,000 passengers. The bus station has 64 CCTV cameras and a child–friendly centre for lost bids. The huge parking lot can besides 2500 two and four wheelers.

Interceptors Sewage System

Delhi Jal Board has come up with this solution to keep the Yamuna River clean by performing the interceptor sewage system on three major pipelines in Najafgarh, Supplementary and Shahadra drain. The system captures sewage from the 1600 unauthorized colonies through 600mn to 2400mn wide pipes.
